This programme has been designed with an objective to familiarize participants with various phases of the project development cycle. The formulation, design, implementation, evaluation & close-out phases of project are covered in detail. The participant is expected to learn the use of network techniques in project management, develop an appreciation of the tools and techniques for effective management of project teams and understand ways of controlling costs & time in projects.
The program also looks at various issues including resources leveling, managing the uncertainty in projects and aspects of project budgeting and monitoring. Exposure to project management software that is built into the curriculum of this program equips you to understand the application of tools to manage complex project management activities.

Course Schedule
- 3 hours on Sunday from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. IST

Eligibility:
- For Indian Students:
- Graduates (10+2+3) or Diploma Holders from a recognized university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government) in any discipline.
- Working Professionals.
- For International Students:
- Graduation or equivalent degree from any recognized University or Institution in their respective country
- Working Professionals.

- The classes for this programme will be held through LIVE lectures that will be beamed online via internet to student desktops/laptops or classrooms using Talentedge’s Direct To Device platform. The pedagogy will comprise of lectures and case discussions imparted by IITRoorkee’s faculty. Select industry experts would also be included to provide practical insights.
- All participants will also be granted 24X7 access to BestEduOnline Cloud Campus comprising of learning aids, study materials, reference materials, assessments, case studies and assignments etc. as per the requirement of the programme. Students can chat real time with the professors during the live class and also post all other programme related queries offline on the Cloud Campus.
Assessments:
- A minimum of 80% attendance to the LIVE lectures is a prerequisite for the successful completion of this programme. There may be periodic evaluations built in throughout the duration of the course. These may be in the form of a quiz, assignment, project or other objective/subjective assessments as relevant and applicable to the programme and are designed to ensure continuous student engagement with the course and encourage learning. While the results/feedback on such assignments will be provided, no consolidated mark or grade sheets shall be distributed to the Participants at the end of the course

Faculty
Dr. Mukesh Kumar Barua
Dr. Mukesh Kumar Barua is an Associate Professor with the Department of Management Studies at IIT Roorkee. He is also a visiting professor at the Defense Engineering College and FDRE’s Metals and Engineering Corporation, Ethiopia.
Dr. Barua has published close to a hundred research papers in National and International Journals and conferences and has delivered many management projects. His areas of interest includes Operations Research, Operations Management, Quality Control, Project Management and Business Statistics.
